2025 Award Recipients Bio

The REALTOR® of the Year Award represents the highest standard of professional excellence. It honors a REALTOR® whose leadership, service, and commitment—to the association, to the industry, and to the community—have made a meaningful impact over the past five years. 

This year’s recipient exemplifies that standard. 

Jimi has been a steady, informed, and trusted leader—one who understands that strong representation at the local, state, and national levels has never been more important. As a Designated Broker she serves as a conduit—translating the work of the REALTOR® Associations into real value for brokers, agents, and their clients. 

Her service to TPCAR spans decades and reflects both longevity and relevance. She has served as a Board Member representing both West Pierce County and East Pierce County, and she has taken on one of the association’s most critical leadership roles, including most recently as our Treasurer in 2025. Her financial stewardship, institutional knowledge, and thoughtful leadership have directly contributed to TPCAR’s long-term strength and stability. 

Jimi’s leadership extends well beyond our local association. She served as President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Tacoma Network in 2012, a pivotal year when the organization faced significant challenges and successfully turned the corner under her guidance. 

Education has been a constant throughline in her career. She holds multiple advanced designations, including CRS, AHWD, and e-PRO, and is licensed to teach continuing education in Washington—demonstrating a clear commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, and lifelong learning. 

But beyond titles and credentials, what truly defines her is how consistently she shows up. Whether volunteering at membership events, stepping in at state conferences, leading learning sessions for our Leadership Academy, or lending her expertise to complex board decisions, she has always been willing to serve wherever she is needed. Her depth of experience and sound judgment have helped shape key decisions that continue to position TPCAR for success.
