Ballots for Washington’s 2026 Primary Election will be mailed beginning July 17 and must be returned by Tuesday, August 4. As REALTORS®, we have an important opportunity to support candidates and policies that understand the connection between housing, economic opportunity, and strong communities.

The Tacoma-Pierce County Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce its endorsements for the Primary Election. TPCAR’s Endorsement Advisory Committee carefully reviewed the candidates seeking our endorsement and selected those who demonstrated a strong understanding of the crucial role real estate plays in our communities, a commitment to issues affecting REALTORS®, property owners and housing, and a willingness to collaborate with TPCAR as public policymakers.

REALTOR® Advocacy Is Bipartisan

RPAC is bipartisan. It does not support candidates based solely on political-party affiliation. Instead, REALTOR® organizations evaluate candidates based on their records, qualifications, and positions on issues important to real estate, private-property rights, housing supply, homeownership, and the communities our members serve. This year’s endorsed candidates share an understanding of those issues and a willingness to work constructively with REALTORS®.

Make Your Voice Heard

Please remember to vote in the August 4 Primary Election. We also encourage members to consider investing in RPAC—the REALTORS® Political Action Committee. Voluntary RPAC investments help support candidates and issues that protect property rights, expand housing opportunities and maintain the strength of REALTOR® advocacy in Washington state.

Vote. Invest. Advocate. Together, we can help shape policies that strengthen our industry and the communities we serve.
