TPCAR Endorsement Recommendations for 2025 Elections
2025 is a local election year, meaning city council and mayoral races are a large focus for TPCAR’s advocacy team. This year’s primary is being held on Tuesday, August 5th, and there are several key races which are likely to be competitive, and which will have a significant impact on housing in our region.
Candidates receiving an endorsement from TPCAR are evaluated on the basis of knowledge of real estate issues, their track record of voting on real estate ordinances, and their history working with TPCAR’s advocacy program.
The endorsements listed below represents an initial review prior to the primary election. Additional interviews and endorsements will be made for the November General Election so be sure to check our endorsement page online.
TPCAR endorsements are made based upon a candidate’s positions on issues which impact the real estate industry, their demonstration of understanding the crucial role real estate plays in our communities, a strong commitment to REALTOR® issues, and a willingness to collaborate with TPCAR on housing matters as public policymakers.
Support for candidates for public office is funded via voluntary REALTOR® member investments in the REATLOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC). If you’ve not done so yet, consider donating RPAC – Realtor investments to the Realtor PAC to help fund candidates and issues that maintain our strength as an advocacy group in Washington State.
