Great News for Affiliate Members!

TPCAR has streamlined the way consumers and members access the Affiliate Directory. In its previous incarnation, keeping the list up to date was a daily task that required deciphering and writing large amounts of code. Fixing errors in the listing was as daunting of a task. However, we have made our affiliate directory available as a live feed from our database. The website is now equipped with a search engine that can locate REALTOR® and AFFILIATE members alike! From now on, when a user clicks the ‘Find Affiliates’ Button, this screen will open:

As you can see, the user is given a choice to search Members or Offices by name or location. I have added a pull down menu for affiliates. When the user selects the Affiliate Menu, several categories appear that make it simple to find the services needed:

If a user were to select ‘Lenders’, for example, without specifying a name or company, a list of every lender who is an affiliate of TPCAR will load:

The user can then conveniently click on the Affiliate Member or Company they are interested in contacting. And since this information is fed directly from our systems, any updates are reflected on the website immediately.

Users can also search by name. This makes the ability to contact a specific Affiliate or REALTOR® instantaneous. The member’s contact information is retrieved and displayed:

If you can navigate through Google, operating this search engine should not be difficult. Having this system in place renders the need for stagnant .pdf documents and updating outmoded registries obsolete! The information is as accurate and up-to-date as the TPCAR database is!
